1. Who we are

Smashrs ("we", "us", or "our") operates smashrs.com, an ATP tennis analytics and match prediction platform. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you use the site, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

2. Information we collect

We collect information in two ways:

Information you provide

  • Your email address, when you create an account or sign in with Google OAuth.
  • Your name and profile picture, if provided by Google when you authenticate via Google Sign-In.

Information collected automatically

  • Log data such as your IP address, browser type, referring URL, and pages visited.
  • Session cookies used to keep you signed in between visits.
  • Aggregated, anonymized analytics data about how features and pages are used.

We do not collect payment information. Smashrs does not charge users and does not process credit cards or financial transactions.

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and maintain your account and authenticate you when you return.
  • Send transactional emails (e.g. account confirmation, password reset).
  • Send product update emails if you have opted in - you can unsubscribe at any time.
  • Monitor and improve the performance, reliability, and usability of the platform.
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms of Service.
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

4. Cookies and tracking

We use the following types of cookies:

  • Essential cookies: Required for the site to function (e.g. keeping you signed in, storing your theme preference). These cannot be disabled.
  • Analytics cookies: Aggregated, anonymized data used to understand which pages and features are most useful. No personally identifiable data is stored in analytics.

5. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services that may process data on our behalf:

  • Google OAuth: Used for account sign-in. When you sign in with Google you are also subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Infrastructure providers: Cloud hosting, database, and CDN providers who process data on our behalf under data processing agreements. These providers do not use your data for their own purposes.
  • Kalshi: Smashrs links to Kalshi, a CFTC-regulated prediction exchange. If you choose to create a Kalshi account via our referral link, Kalshi's own privacy policy governs the data you provide to them. We do not share your Smashrs account data with Kalshi.

6. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or request deletion, we will remove your personal information from our systems within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law (e.g. for fraud prevention or legal compliance).

7. Data security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit and access controls limiting who can view personal data internally. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's privacy

Smashrs is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data.
  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. If changes are material, we will notify registered users by email. Continued use of Smashrs after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
